Supported dice
The roller supports the standard tabletop set — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100 — and any die from 2 to 100 sides in notation. You can roll up to 100 dice at once and add a positive or negative modifier.
Dice notation
2d6 means two six-sided dice. Add a modifier with + or -, such as 1d20+5 or 3d10-2, and combine dice with +: 1d20+1d4+2. Only one number modifier is allowed, and dice can't be subtracted. Anything the roller doesn't support is rejected with an explanation rather than guessed at.
Common tasks
- Roll a single d20 for an ability check — or use the D20 roller for advantage.
- Roll 2d6 for board games, or 4d6 for character stats.
- Check the chance of rolling 7 on 2d6 before you commit to a move.
- Build a random encounter table and roll on it during a session.
Questions
Are the rolls fair?
Yes. Results come from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, with rejection sampling so every face is equally likely. Animations never decide the result.
Do I need an account?
No. Your last setup, presets, history and tables are stored in this browser only. Clearing browser data or using private browsing removes them — export your tables if you want a backup. See Privacy & data.
